Je suis née dans le sud de la France à Toulouse, française d'origine marocaine, j'ai appris à lire et écrire l'arabe durant mon cursus scolaire.
Lorsque j'obtiens ma maîtrise en marketing, je pars en voyage aux quatre coins du globe, puis après avoir assouvi mes envies d'évasion je reviens m'installer en France, je m ' inscris alors à un stage d'initiation à la calligraphie arabe qui sera une véritable révélation pour moi.
J'y rencontre Hussein et Hassan Kourdi , des calligraphes Syriens, ils vont m' enseigner la calligraphie durant plusieurs années et ainsi me transmettre leur connaissance de cet art millénaire.
Devenue depuis une des rares femmes calligraphes arabes, j'ai réussi à trouver mon propre style,moderne et épuré, mon désir étant avant tout de mettre en valeur les lettres arabes car pour moi l'esthétisme de ces lettres l'emporte sur leurs sens.
mon envie de partager ma passion pour la calligraphie arabe, m'amène aujourd'hui à vous proposer certaines de mes créations.
French of Moroccan origin, I was born in the south of France , in Toulouse , I learnt to read and write Arabic during my schooling.
When I get my master's degree of marketing, I went travelling around the world, and after having satisfied my wish of escaping, I came back to France and joined an Arabic calligraphy course, which happened to be a real revelation for me.
There I met Hussein and Hassan Kourdi, Syrian calligraphers, who taught me calligraphy during several years and therefore transmitted their knowledge of this millenary art.
Having since become one of the few female Arabic calligraphers, I managed to find my own modern, spare style, my aim being to highlight the Arabic letters, as for me the esthetic quality of the letters prevails over their meaning.
My desire to share my passion for calligraphy brings me today to offer you some of my creations.
